My aim is to create a safe space for all children to explore the core values of yoga through fun and creative classes which encompass both mind and body. Allowing children to have dedicated time to investigate their emotions, develop physical skills such as balance, coordination, flexibility and strength as well as to take time to stop and slow down in a completely pressure free environment. By linking in to the curriculum we can give different types of learners the chance to build confidence in other areas of school by presenting information in interesting and new ways. Social skills will be developed through games and partner work. Giving them the skills to identify emotions and manage stress and anxiety will have huge benefits for both school and home life for years to come.
